The basics
Travel dates, how flexible they are, how many are traveling, and where you're flying from.
Where you want to go
One place or many. List them in order of priority.
Getting around
Flights between cities or countries, trains, cruises, ferries, a road trip or private drivers.
Where you'll stay
Anything from camping and cabins to five-star hotels, villas and resorts.
Your budget
A range for the whole trip, and whether it includes flights.
